Self priming pump is a commonly used pump in South China. The principle is to use the velocity of water to drive the impeller to pump water to the bank. This kind of pump can be used to pump water when it is thrown into the river, but it must be in a place with fast water flow or drop.
Self priming pump is different from general centrifugal pump. Before the centrifugal pump works, the pump body and the water inlet pipe must be full of water and run into a vacuum state. When the impeller rotates rapidly, the blade makes the water rotate quickly. The rotating water flies away from the impeller under the action of centrifugal force. After the water in the pump is thrown out, the central part of the impeller becomes empty. Under the action of atmospheric pressure (or water pressure), the original water of water is pressed into the water inlet pipe through the pipe network. In this way, continuous pumping can be realized.
The self-priming pump does not need to be filled with water, which is the origin of the self-priming pump.
Self priming principle of self priming pump:
Because of the special design of pump casing. The sealing performance of the pump is higher than that of the general centrifugal pump, and the water in the pump shell will not be drained automatically after the motor stops. The motor drives the turbine to rotate at a high speed, which quickly forms a negative pressure (vacuum) in the pump. Use atmospheric pressure to pump casing, and then centrifugal head. Therefore, the suction head of the self-priming pump will not exceed one atmospheric pressure, about 11m.
Application scope of self-priming pump:
1. It is applicable to urban environmental protection, construction, fire protection, chemical industry, pharmacy, dye, printing and dyeing, brewing, electric power, electroplating, paper making, industrial ore washing, equipment cooling, etc.
2, install the rocker boom sprinkler head, and then flush the water into the air and spray it into small droplets for spraying. It is a good tool for farms, nursery, orchards, and vegetable gardens.
3. It is suitable for clear water, sea water, chemical medium liquid with acid and alkalinity and slurry with general paste (medium viscosity <100 centipoise, solid content up to 30%).
4. It can be used with any type and specification of filter press. It is the best matching pump for filter press when the slurry is sent to the filter press.
